Hello all,

       My name is Tristan Friederick, and I am a Business Administration major. I am coming back to school after a few years off. In the recent years I worked as a Sheet Metal Worker learning many skills and developing many more relationships. I realized that even though it's a rewarding trade, I didn't want to be hurting the way my coworkers are in their forties and fifties. 
            Some important parts of my life are obviously my family and friends, they have been my rock throughout every high and low point in my life. My girlfriend of 4 years, Emily and my dog are also very important to me because they always know how to bring up my spirits and they remind me of how fortunate I am for what I have. 
            I signed up for this class because it was a requirement and that's it... JUST KIDDING. The reason I am taking Principles of Marketing goes much farther than that. I have always been interested in the field of marketing. Just how many things us as consumers do on a daily basis that is orchestrated by someone else's actions. It will be great learning more about the tactics, history and processes marketers have to go through to be able to get customers to buy their items. 
            There is a saying I like to live by, "work hard, play hard". I have worked very hard for the things I have in my life, and I have played hard as well. I have seen countless bands ranging from heavy metal like Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch and Hollywood Undead to more laid-back country, such as Zach Bryan, Charles Wesley Godwin and Turnpike Troubadours. Traveling has also been something I have enjoyed over the years. Spanning from hiking Smith Rock in Central Oregon to enjoying the Boston night life.

Social Listening- Dutch Bros

          Customer service is one of Dutch Bros Coffee's three core Values, these being speed, quality and you guessed it... Service! Even though they have three core values, they preach that each one holds significant value. I chose Dutch Bros because of their company's culture and for what they stand for, as well as having delicious products. These last few weeks they have come out with their fall drinks and people are buzzing about them on social media. Many customers have questions about the drinks, the availability of these drinks as well as information on potential stand openings.             As I stated before, Dutch Bros three core values are speed, quality and service.
